As you feel led
As you read and ponder the weekly posts, I hope that you will share your experiences as you feel led. We so desire for this to be an interactive conversation between women(men don't be afraid your always welcome) who are ready to start challenging themselves in their faith walk to consider how each day they are serving others in the name of Jesus.
I hope that as you share your comments and stories you will reap the benefits of knowing that you have encouraged others walking along with you. Your story could mean all the difference in someones day, even their life. If God speaks to you this week or something in the weekly post spoke to your heart, we would love to hear about it!
Sweet Blessings,
Laurie

As I read your blog, I realized that I can't see anything from the angle I am looking from. I am always looking down. We lost our 20 year old son five years ago, on July lst, in an auto accident and I feel like I have been emotionally dead since then. Sure, I go through the day. I work, I laugh, and I cry, but very seldom. I don't let myself cry. Why? I don't really know.
But I know that when I see my Savior, I will understand.
Oh Anonymous, I am so glad you posted here. Please know that you are in my prayers tonight. I will pray that God will begin to lead you down a new path, one that he wants for you. We lost our son 5 years ago this Dec and I know what a dark place that can be. Through some amazing friends and family God let us see that we were never going to be okay with what happened and we are never going to stop grieving, and that was okay, but he wanted us to know we could still have joy.
That path and that life is done, but thanks to God's grace we can have a new path, a different journey, one that includes our son and his memory, yet allows that burden to be carried by God and not us. We know we will see our sweet son again and who knows maybe our boys are some how connected as we have just been. I will pray that God will allow you to honor your son by living the life that God intends for you.
Remember that in everything, God has a plan of good for you. One to prosper you and grow you and not to harm you.
Jeremiah 29:11
If you cry God will dry your tears and he will hold you tight.
Sweet Blessings,
Laurie
